New Zealand's population (immigration)

Post by Jasin » Tue Apr 30, 2024 12:35 am

Click to 17min mark (unless you wish to watch the whole lot through).
This is where it talks about New Zealand's birthrate, immigration rate and where from and where they tend to stay and why New Zealand's Auckland region (where the immigrants from mostly China, India & Philippines ) are settling and the Housing prices have skyrocketed!

Maybe New Zealand can import a lot of Israeli refugees.

I was being sardonic, Bobby. Especially given New Zealand's ultra liberal social policies.

You better ask the Maoris first. :)

New Zealand has the problem with Maori-dom becoming much like the Boers in South Africa.
They want cultural absolutism - like their language being 'mandatory' in the Education system and more.

Immigrants in New Zealand are like Stoats and Possums: They kill the native wildlife prolifically.
New Zealand's other influx of mass-peoples are called Tourists, as it is equal #1 Tourist nation with West Canada in popularity.
Why they need immigration at such a level is beyond me?
Some nations just can't cope (resources, land, etc) with big populations like others.

New Zealand is also the famous 'Back Door' for those who want to immigrate into Australia... which has a lot of land at least. Start building Las Vegas-like Cities in the Outback and put them all there... rather than cement over prime land (for Agriculture and Wildlife habitation) for them to 'congest' both with traffic and high-rises.

I've been to NZ.
The Kiwis I know are fed up with Maoris.
I couldn't understand the news as they kept using Maori words mixed with the English words -
often one Maori word in every 2 or 3 sentences.
It really pissed me off.
Then I decided to go up to the top of Mt Eden in Auckland -
it was closed off to cars by the Maoris - with a gate - I was so annoyed as it's the best place.
It was too steep to walk up to the top -
I would have had a heart attack if I tried.

There are many 'Kiwis' (whites) who do respect and embrace Maoridom existence there.
But there are many who are fed up with the Maori trying to enforce their version of Apartheid-Boer-like against everyone else but Maori.
Personally, I think the Maori are shooting themselves in the foot once again doing this - making their 'culture' (of a mere 800 years of just Hunter-Gatherer existence) a mandatory and dominating aspect of New Zealand.
Its mostly the North Islander Maori (as in Chairman Mao  ) who hold back onto the past and anti-everyone else and were the most war-like (even against themselves), even nearly obliterating the Mori-Ori of the Chatham Islands because they came from other Polynesian islands further east and north. The South Islander Maori, who number less in population but are generally much taller, slender and greener eyed - tend not to fall back on 'old days' and don't really give a stoat about 'singular' culture/heritage and are thus more 'personally' richer, successful and socially cohesive with other New Zealanders. They believe that Maori is shown in the individual good character of race and responsibility to be a shared experience with everyone else. They are the more 'progressive' in my mind. More so than the squatty-fatty north island Maori who still look like Taiwanese Yellows, where all Polynesians came from. Made in Taiwan.

Most Maoris are obese -
they eat either pizza or fish and chips every day.
