I think it's actually a very good portrait.......

..... except for the background colour.

His face (head) looks totally out of place with the rest of the entire painting as if its saying 'he' doesn't fit the picture (of King).
I think the artist took liberty with Charles to gain attention for himself. They should have commissioned someone to just do a traditional conservative portrait.

I think both the colour chosen for the portrait and lack of crown on his head is rather telling, and sets the scene for what Charles is trying to tell us, the world.

It's a no brainer.... no crown + consumption of red = China?

Or a revival of communist ideology perhaps?

Did you know - while you've been away. I've been driving the Trolls mad saying that I was you every now and then over the years to the point the idiots actually believed it.
Well as you can see Mellie, I've progressed as Moderator of Extremism Exposed Board on Ozpol and have deposed Aussie as EL here despite his corrupt attempt to rig the Election.
Have worked hard with dear Black Orchid and Bobby to give this good PA a renaissance and my main weapon of choice was to boot those Trolls out back to Monk's Troll Cave forum where they belong. It's been so good here since.
