If you are trying to draw a parallel with Luke 22, the person whose ear was cut off was Malchus, the high priest’s servant. The incident occurred when Peter rashly swung his sword at Malchus, in an attempt to prevent the arrest of Jesus at Gethsemane.

Given that the person who lost his ear was involved in the arrest of Jesus, which ultimately led to His crucifixion, I don't see how that person could be said to be a prophet, a messiah, a redeemer, a saviour or a seer.
