Children's hospital hit as Russian strikes kill dozens in Ukraine - Kyiv.
A children's hospital in Kyiv has been hit after Russia launched a wave of missile strikes against cities across Ukraine.
Two people died when the Ohmatdyt Children's Hospital - Ukraine's biggest paediatrics facility - sustained major damage during the blast.
Thirty-six people were killed and 140 people were injured in the strikes, President Volodymyr Zelensky's chief of staff Andriy Yermak said on Monday.
Lesia Lysytsia, a doctor at the hospital, told the BBC the moment the missile struck was "like in a film" with a "big light, then an awful sound".
"One part of the hospital was destroyed and there was a fire in another. It's really very damaged - maybe 60-70% of the hospital," she said.
Pictures from the scene showed young children - some with IV drips - sitting outside the hospital as it was evacuated.
Vitaliy Klitschko, Kyiv's mayor, said the two who died at the hospital were adults - one of whom was a doctor. He added that rescuers feared more people were trapped under the rubble.
Russia has denied targeting the hospital, saying it was hit by fragments of a Ukrainian air defence missile. But Ukraine says it has found remnants of a Russian cruise missile.

Air defences shot down 30 of 38 missiles, the air force said. Fifty civilian buildings, including residential houses, a business centre and two medical facilities were damaged in Kyiv, the central cities of Kryvyi Rih and Dnipro and two eastern cities, the interior minister said.
An online video obtained by Reuters showed a missile falling from the sky towards the children's hospital followed by a large explosion. The location of the video was verified from visible landmarks.
The Security Service of Ukraine identified the missile as an Kh-101 cruise missile.
Twenty-two people, including two children, were killed in Kyiv and 82 more were wounded in the main missile volley and another strike that came two hours later, officials said.
Eleven were confirmed dead in the Dnipropetrovsk region and 64 were wounded, regional officials said. Three people were killed in the eastern town of Pokrovsk where missiles hit an industrial facility, the governor said.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Ukraine would retaliate and called on Kyiv's Western allies to give a firm response to the attack.
"We will retaliate against these people, we will deliver a powerful response from our side to Russia, for sure. The question to our partners is: can they respond?" Zelenskiy who is visiting Poland said during a joint press conference with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
Diplomats said the United Nations Security Council would meet on Tuesday at the request of Britain, France, Ecuador, Slovenia and the United States.
The Russian Defence Ministry said its forces had carried out strikes on defence industry targets and aviation bases in Ukraine.

As per the Book of Revelation -
it's obviously the End Times now as prophesied -
it's time that Jesus returned and meted out divine justice to
all the monstrous criminals in the world.
Putin needs to be first on the list.

Turns out that it was friendly fire! It was a patriot missile that hit the hospital, having missed its target.
"But you will run your kunt mouth at me. And I will take it, to play poker."

The BBC has a different story:
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c2lkq58q5d1o
UN blames Russia for deadly hospital blast.
Two people died when a missile flattened part of the Ohmatdyt Children's Hospital -
Ukraine's biggest paediatrics facility - and a search for survivors beneath the rubble was completed on Tuesday morning.
Ukraine's SBU security service published photos of what it said were fragments -
including an engine part - of a KH-101 cruise missile fired by Russia.
In a statement, the SBU said its experts' "conclusions are unequivocal - it was a targeted attack" by Russia.
