An Australian McDonald’s worker’s disgusting act has gone viral after
being caught on camera drying a mop head underneath a French fry warmer.

A staff member from the fast-food chain’s Booval outlet, 30km southwest of Brisbane,
was filmed holding a detachable microfibre mop head underneath a heat lamp directly
above some fries that were ready to be served to a customer.

Daily Mail Australia reports that management spoke to the staff member;
however, further action has not been taken.

    TikTok user Kelsey Kwiatkowski, 21, from Springfield, Missouri shared the video on December 16
    She is seen in a McDonald's kitchen with one hand down the pack of her trousers when a man filming asks for his large French fry order
    Kelsey pulls her hand out, uses it to scoop of fries, and then serves the person filming with an annoyed expression
    The person filming does not appear to be a real customer, but commenters are still disgusted by the clip, calling it 'McNasty'
    Kelsey has shared other videos of herself smoking inside a McDonald's booth and dancing on the counter

The restaurant I am employed has a policy of having your hands washed every hour, no matter what you are doing. If you serve a customer, you need to have clean hands before you serve the customer. To think of even putting your hands down your pants to adjust your underwear or whatever, it is unthinkable. If you need to adjust your pants, you excuse yourself to a section where there are no cameras or eyewitnesses around. Then you make the rearrangements.
