Do I have Covid?

it's easy to get false readings on those so multiple tests are recommended. Do another tomorrow and see if it's the same result

I had something:
temperature, high blood pressure, nausea, pain, guts ache, feeling like I wanted to vomit,
head spinning, off balance, couldn't think straight, dry mouth, sore throat, croaky voice,
toes and fingers freezing cold, forehead and chest hot and sweating,
nose running, tiredness, exhaustion.

I assume you have seen a doctor?

WTF ask us wankers? How would we have a clue what the hell you had?

I think it was some kind of virus and I have won the fight against it.
What could a doctor do now?

I had what I assumed was a mild bout of hay fever for a couple of weeks earlier this month. At least I thought that was what I had, and it coincided with the neighbour's orange jasmine hedge flowering, but now I'm hearing that about half the people I have been in contact with lately have come down with Covid, including my husband, who has been coughing, sneezing, sleeping more than usual and complaining that he has lost his sense of taste.......

Could be. I've been very closely in contact with it several times and ... nothing.

Back in 2022, I had a runny nose for a week or so, but it cleared up without developing into anything else. Then my husband came down with Covid with all the classic Covid symptoms, so I took him to one of those testing centres. I asked to be tested too but was told that they wouldn't do it for free because I didn't have any symptoms. After his results came back as positive I decided to do a RAT test on myself and, of course, I tested positive too.....

So I've had Covid twice it seems, and each time it's only been a mild temporary discomfort. Most of the colds I've had have been worse.

Strange that the effects of Covid at the start were severe.
Then 2 years later - mostly mild.

I managed to escape it until 2022 and, given I hardly had any symptoms, if I hadn't done that RAT test, I would have thought it was something else that I had back then
