Hi there. Thanks for the registration.

I was looking in the profile area to change the display name from my "madmonk" user id to "Captain Nemo" ...

Seems that permissions are not set to allow that.

i wonder if the admins could have a go at allowing users to change their display names?

Looking around for forum help I came across some info that it can be done ... the admin needs to perform a setting change globally?

As per this:

ACP > Permissions > Group permissions > select group > Advanced permissions > Profile > Can change username = Yes

Would love to see that setting applied.
