I took one hungry looking and skittish cat in that was abandoned from two doors up.
Took a while to win her over, but in time - her 'fears' were gone and she became happy.

Both felines and canines are special in their own ways.
But I do prefer dogs as they are just more fun.
Dogs are a lot of work - you have to walk them every day - rain, hail or shine.

Cats like to chill out but they will play at times.

Best would be to have both if you have a good backyard and plenty of time.
Yes dogs are more work whereas cats are very independent and quite the survivors!
We’ve had both, and they didn’t like each other, in the same room they kept an eye of each others whereabouts to avoid each other.
Each had their own unique amazingness and I miss them both.

What a pity the cat and dog couldn't be friends.
When I've seen Golden Retrievers or Labradors -
they always make friends with cats but it can take a few months and needs to be supervised.
They got on by keeping out of each others way
It’s like a silent understanding.

When you live with a Cat has 200 IQ

Living with a regular cat is already an adventure, but imagine sharing your home with a feline Einstein?

Nice of them to put a flower over the dog's butt.

...now if it was a real 'hole', where would the cat be then?
