I put this here because there is no 'technical issues' board. Aussie can move it if he wants it somewhere in particular.


Why is it that when I log on, if I leave the PC for an hour or so and then come back I have to log in again? No other forum does this and if I can recall correctly, this forum never used to do this before body odour banned me. Has someone changed settings somewhere? If so, can we change them back so I don't have to log back in every time I step away?

I think I had that problem early on in my membership and BO might have fixed it.

I don;t have this problem if i tick the "stay logging in" button just under the password.

I have to relogin if I clear the cache.

Yes, it makes no difference.

Edit: I haven't shut down the screen so I dont see how 'stay logged in' would make any difference anyway. The screen is open on my desktop. I don't leave it all day, just for about an hour or so while I'm prepping dinner or the kids.

The issue only seems to affect Smith.
