Portugal does it with great success. The local ACT Senator Seselja keeps crapping on about like its going to lead to gang warfare in the streets, but the actual idea is not about decriminalising all hard drugs in all amounts. Its about recognising that for the everyday addict, its a health problem not a criminal problem. Drug dealers etc will still be locked up.

What we are doing now has been a 60 year failure
