Queensland records 5,699 new COVID-19 cases
as closed clinics lead to long queues for tests

Queensland has recorded 5,699 new cases of
COVID-19 as a number of testing clinics close without
notice causing long queues and delays.

There are 11 people in ICU in hospital and two of those are on a ventilator.

That is 1%.
There will be MANY more unknown cases, so the %age will be way under 1%.
If you are vaccinated, much less than that. If you are in even reasonable health, much less than that.

It's a flu outcome.

It was bound to happen when they relaxed rules.

I hope peoples mental health is not suffering as this could be worse than actually getting it.

Bobby, do you have a support person to help you? its terrible to see people so concerned and not coping with worry.

I only go to the supermarket a few times a week.

Hopefully my double vax of AZ will protect me from the rampant disease.

Even though its spreading rapidly it's unlikely to be fatal if you are healthy...

I wouldn't worry too much.
