I would rather die than sell my heart and soul to an online forum Anti Christ like you Monk
Re: What do people believe is civilised debate?
In a civilised debate people can take up contrary opinions else there is no debate.
How is this disagreement in viewpoints to be settled?
Facts and logic.
Do feelings grow warm in a debate? They certainly can because often there are no facts just beliefs and these beliefs may have been held for a long time.
So, ultimately, you need mature people to get civilised debate. In the absence of that—an adult person as moderator.

Not at all Monk. There is nothing about your behavior, at this forum, that in anyway lends itself to anything resembling maturity.
"But you will run your kunt mouth at me. And I will take it, to play poker."

Dearest Sappho, when you know what you are talking about please do come into the debate.
Re: What do people believe is civilised debate?
Calling someone “mong” is not civilised debate IMHO. Mongolism is no fun to the person involved or his or her parents. It is cheap and common to call someone “mong.”
Re: What do people believe is civilised debate?
I think a sense of humor is vital to civilised debate. The ability to mock oneself when finding one getting a bit hot under the collar.
A sense of humor is pretty rare tho.
