I have a shitload of tidying up to do. My dear mother was a hoarder extraordinaire (not of rubbish tho) so LOTS to sort, wash, bag and take to op shop or rubbish bin or sell on Ebay or GunTree.

Once that is halfway done tho I want to get another dog. Thinking an English Staffordshire Bull Terrier bitch from the pound (or a rescue dog anyway.)

A staffy is bigger than the other dogs in my life—Australian Terrier, chihuahua and Jack Russell/Maltese Terrrier cross and I did want a bigger dog.

Be plenty of family visit—Staffy’s are good with kids.

Will have to find dog obedience, agility and, hopefully, tracking groups in the nearest biggish city. Lots of great walks around the block, water for fishing (apparently not many fish but will see, known good fishing waters not that far away and even the sea not out of range (except in holiday season.)

Will train it to find and kill cats!

Golden Retrievers are excellent caring and affectionate companions for young kids and old people.

They are also very intelligent and make awesome therapy dogs. We bought one for mum. It made all the difference for her as both developed a very special bond.

Poor mum.
