Personally I don't go with those numbers, they could easily be done in a favoured area, and of perhaps 100 people.

Point 1-Newpoll always poll at least 1000 people.
Point 2- and more important, newspoll always favours the Libs, always.

It's still early days skip. We've all seen how labor can do the old manic depressant imitation when it comes to polls. Jules better hope that doesn't happen or we may see two sitting PMs deposed by the labor men in black

Well I'm still living feral under tarps in the bush and the 1st I heard of an election is when I opened my email account to see the Greens still pester me with email requests for $upport.
Not much point though 'coz when I moved from the 40 odd acres I house sat on to the farm I was sacked from about 4 months ago, I never re-enrolled and have no intention of doing so.
I have no faith or trust in any of the candidates or political parties on offer so why waste my time?
I now consider myself an anarchist. Not the psuedo-lefty anti-WTO protesting kind though. More like the Rupert Murdoch privatise the phuk out of everything kind, and make all those little Hitler extortionists in govt run corporations compete in the real world.
Glad Mr KRudd got the arse when I heard about his proposed "Mining Tax" 'coz I intend to steak a claim, take out a mining lease and mine the iron pyrite (fool's gold) on my land so when the council comes along and says "You're living in a shed (or living feral), you can't do that" ... I'll reply "Wanna bet? ... I have a miner's right ... so phuk oph".

Fair call, all pollies tell fibs and can't lay straight in bed.
Even if it wasn't your land, I think there are still the squatters rights that apply today as they did 100 yrs ago.

Questions to Abbott the Rabbit;
Reporter; What about work choises?
Abbott; Work choises are dead, buried and cremated, (I thought one had to be cremated before buried)
today, tomorrow, and in 3 years from now.
Reporter; Will work choises be in your policies?
Abbott; Work choises are dead, buried and cremated, today, tomorrow and 3 years from now,
however, in legislation there is room for allowences.

in other words, work choise will return.

Reporter; Do you think it's fair you give yourself (minisiters) a $50k payrise while the Australin worker is struggling?
Abbott; No answer.

Squatters rights takes 11 years and applies to another's land.
This is my land which I've been growing my own private forest on for the last 18 years.
The council could get me in court in just over 6 months, but with a miner's right they'd be wasting their time and rate payers money. Nothing in Oz is more powerful than the mining industry, thanx to those blokes at the Eureka stokade.

As for the election, well I have no one to vote for, so I won't bother enrolling.

I didn't think it was 11 yrs, once upon a time it was 6mths

I know of others who choose not to enrol and vote for the same reason,
not happy with either site and so, pay the fine for not voting and be done with it,
problem is, if we all did that, then the party in power stays in forever.

You are a deadset fucking moron. If you think that every single item of Labors Fair work policy should be set in stone for eternity then you are a bigger fucking moron than I thought...and that would take some doing

Isn't Julia looking spiffy !! Will she stick with that hairdo until election night ???

Up until I recently saw Ms Gillard on the arms of her hairdresser I thought she was hetrosexually challenged.

did she invite him around for a quick blow and was then told by the factions they would get more votes if the country was lead by a woman in a "stable" relationship ??

how many were there before this guy turned up ???
