What should we do about China?

Post by Bobby » Fri Jul 30, 2021 9:03 pm

What should we do about China?

China could ruin us overnight by not buying our coal or iron ore etc.
We need China but we don't need their spying
and their biological and nuclear weapons.
It's also time we got the United Nations fired up by
getting the USA to do the hard yards for us.
Get the USA to make all kinds of demands at the United Nations about China.
Even threaten to kick China out of the UN
so they no longer have a veto power.
What else should be the penalty for covering up a
bio weapons program that has
nearly destroyed the whole world?
At the same time they are massively increasing their nukes.
They are a threat even worse than the Nazis or the Soviets.

Everyone is clear that they hate the USA so we should kick the UN out of New York and send them to the EU capital in Brussels. Let the World take care of itself, we have had enough of We hate you but protect us with American tax payers money. If China wants to rule the World it is time for others to band together and stop them. The EU can be the worlds policeman for a while! We have Beijing biden in the Whitehouse so don't expect us to help against his employer. You are on your own until at least 2024, maybe forever! Simple answer is submit or die!
Taxpayers are the modern equivalent of Hebrew slaves building the pyramids for the Egyptian political class.

After living and working in China for nearly 3 years.

I can tell you they aint doing too bad.

If you have the drive and work hard, you can go far.

If you are a criminal, life is hard and short.

We could do worse than being taken over by China.
Muzzos would be brought under control and re-educated
Somalis would run screaming back to the jungles
Politicians and senior public servants woukd be shot for corruption.
Abbos would not get it so easy.
LGBTIQSELFISH would find less tolerance for their stupidity
Criminals woukd learn the meaning of re-education.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

What should we do about China?
Well China unofficially banned our coal .. that's backfired big time .. power/electricity shortages and record prices for coal in China.
So now the admin has unofficially allowed Ozzy coal, or the buyers are ignoring admin diktats.

It's been suggested we should stop selling them our iron ore, because China desperately needs it, and they can't build the war machine without it.
Bob Menzies earnt the derogatory term "Pig Iron Bob" because he allowed the sale of iron ore to pre-WW2 expansionist Japan who turned it into bombs and dropped them on Darwin.
Problem is iron ore is our biggest export earner and the commonwealth needs the revenue, so we're damned if we do or don't.

Might not matter now, China's 2 largest property construction firms have gone bust owing billion$, so there'll be a cut in iron ore demand regardless.

Now the Chinese admin being authoritarian control freaks are obsessed with financial regulation to the point they've banned crypto-currencies, so my dirty  tactic would be to flood the nation and/or its neighbors with counterfeit Chinese currency to induce hyper-inflation and watch the economy implode.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

China’s propaganda mouthpiece has threatened military action towards Australian troops declaring it would be a “nightmare for them” if Canberra mounted a defence of Taiwan.

The editor of the Global Times – China’s propaganda mouthpiece - has delivered a chilling warning of a “heavy attack” on Australian troops should they come to the aid of Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion.

Defence Minister Peter Dutton said over the weekend it was “inconceivable” that Australia would not support a US-led action in Taiwan, but the editor of the Global Times issued a harrowing statement in response.

Hu Xijin said Australian troops would be met with a “nightmare” should they enter the Taiwan Strait.

“If Australian troops come to the Taiwan Straits to fight the PLA, that will definitely be a nightmare for them,” he said in one tweet.

“If Australian troops come to fight in the Taiwan Straits, it is unimaginable that China won’t carry out a heavy attack on them and the Australian military facilities that support them,” Mr Hu said in another.

“So Australia better be prepared to sacrifice for Taiwan island and the US.”

We should take back the ports and airports leased/sold to the commie Chinese then take back all the commercial, agricultural and residential property they own here. That's what we should do.

But we're only minnows in a sea of sharks.

Chinese jets and bombers descend on Taiwan airspace as Beijing stokes tensions.

The Taiwanese Ministry of National Defense said that 27 Chinese military aircraft entered the southwest area of the nation's Air Defense Identification Zone today. The Taiwanese Ministry of Defense tweeted: "27 PLA aircraft (KJ-500 AEW&C*2, Y-9 EW, H-6*5, Y-20 Aerial Refueling, J-10*6, J-11*4 and J-16*8) entered Taiwan's southwest ADIZ on November 28, 2021."

The news comes after China told the US not to "play Taiwan card" because it is a "losing hand".

Beijing is fuming after US lawmakers recently visited the island democracy.

They state that interference from the US in Taiwan will impact relations with China

Following the visit from the US officials to Taipei, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian warned the US "not to play the Taiwan card, because it's a bad card, and a losing hand".

He gave a stern warning that the US should not breach the One-China policy, where Beijing instead Taiwan is under their sovereignty.

The firebrand spokesperson warned the US to not set the wrong idea about "Taiwan independence".

Tory MP Damian Green warned that China is on its way to becoming 'a new colonial power' by investing money into countries such as Barbados. The island, which is in the Lesser Antilles and former British colony which has been independent since 1966, officially became a republic after the removal of Queen Elizabeth as its head of state on Monday.

Although Barbados remains a member of the Commonwealth, the decision to become a republic has been largely influenced by China, with the influential Eastern Asian country expected to have the most potent military in the world by 2050.

Tory MP told Iain Dale on LBC that China could use its financial influence to turn into a powerful, new colonial power.

He said: "There is a lot of affection, particularly for the Queen around the Commonwealth, not just in this country.

"And for all the royal turbulence, that we've seen over the past 18 months or so, I detect no surge of republican sentiment in this country.

"But I worry even more and I think you're right to bring up the Chinese money.

"Because there is in a sense a much more serious global play going on here which is the Chinese attempting, using money influence and pulling countries into debts to effectively become a new colonial power around the world.

"And I think if that's allowed to take hold, that will be a real threat to democracies of many of the Commonwealth countries."

But Barbados is not the sole member of the Commonwealth that China are looking to develop military and diplomatic links with.

Several Commonwealth countries receive regular Chinese military training. These include Guyana, Cameroon and Rwanda.

Barbados' decision to become a republic has been met with criticism among some Barbadians themselves. They are concerned that the new independence from the Crown is a double-edged sword as China look to expand its influence in the Caribbean in future.

The last 100+ years of human history shows a pattern of newly emerging great powers, confident in their continued economic growth and expanding military power, become militaristic and expansionist. That this happened during a period when national borders were being universally recognised, meant that this was a recipe for war.

Imperial Germany, because of it's internal division, was a late player in the colonialism game and by the time it got organised, there was little but scraps of Asia, Africa, and the Pacific Islands left unclaimed. So too, Japan had only just emerged from feudalism when it too found nothing much to claim without resorting to war. National Socialist Germany under Hitler primarily wished to reclaim it's own territory stolen from it by the Treaty of Versailles, but Hitler secretly coveted eastern lands as lebensraum for Germans. Fascist Italy also realised that national expansion could only come about through military conquest.

Now we have China in exactly the same position.

A very late comer in the expansionist game, China finds a world where international agreements and internationally recognised borders prevent it's expansion. Like Imperial Germany, National Socialist Germany, Imperial Japan, and Fascist Italy, it too is run by a dictator So, if history is a guide, all the portents for a very serious war between great powers is on the cards. China is an emerging power with nowhere to expand. It is run by a dictator. Dictator's have consistently been narcissistic fools who have constantly miscalculated and found themselves in a serious war which was usually catastrophic for their own nations.

But things have changed since 1914. For one thing, the democracies in general are much better prepared for war than they have ever been before. China today is the most hated country on the planet because of it's bullying behaviour and it's accidental release of the biological weapon it was working on, which has devastated to world. It's demographics mean it may soon be the world's next homosexual superpower since Sparta. Finally, it's own economy is in serious trouble.

Even a superpower can bite off more than it can chew, as the Americans and Soviets found out in Vietnam and Afghanistan. Lie Imperial Japan, China's vital maritime trade links could easily be interdicted. Nobody goes to war without steel, and Chinese reliance on Australian iron ore (and Australian coal) is a real problem for them. There is another factor making war unlikely if the civilised world arms itslef and sticks together. Historically, the Chinese armed forces have traditionally been easybeats. Even the Vietnamese with whom they shared a common border kicked their arses

With the most of the advanced societies on the planet uniting against China, China finds itself alone, with no friends. Russia might help China since both nations are now in the doghouse together but even Russia would be wary of Chinese expansion north into Siberia. That suspicion must have grown when some idiot on The Global Times (which is the official mouthpiece for the CCP) said that Vladivostok was always Chinese and would be so again, one day. Last I heard, despite nominally supporting China, the Ivans sent six more divisions to their border with China.

History teaches us one very useful lesson. If you want peace, be a person who supports democracy. Totalitarians go to war against totalitarians. Totalitarians go to war against democracies. But democracies never go to war against fellow democracies.

What to do about China? First, form solid alliances. No matter how big China's military may be, a solid alliance of India, Republican USA, Japan, parts of wimpy Europe, Canada, Australia, the Philippines, and some of ASEAN, is a lot bigger. Second, make it crystal clear to the Chinese emperor that we regard Taiwan as the new Czechoslovakia, and if China invades Taiwan, it will be war. Third, start stacking stones on our ramparts and start turning our ploughshares into arms. Fourth, diversify our exports and don't buy anything from China that you can do without.

There must be Chinese, even within the CCP, who realise that Xi Jinping is leading his nation to catastrophe. One hopes that in time Xi will be deposed like Khrushchev, and a more pragmatic and less belligerent leader may emerge.
