One guy at work is an ex white South African.
He said last time he went there he was not treated as a native of SA or a visitor.
He was treated as an alien and an invader. He is not going back again even to visit.
It is not his home anymore. He's quite hurt about it.

I lived in Rhodesia during Apartheid (in the RSA) and I spent a fair amount of time over the border. Apartheid was bad, really bad. It was practised in Rhodesia as well but it was not the law nor was it as overt. Anyway, both countries claimed it was the white man who brought peace to the region and that if it were left to the "Bantu" it'd be chaos. Is it really necessary for the blacks to prove them right? South Africa is a very beautiful country but it isn't worth living there.
