Victoria has recorded the deaths of 11 more people with COVID-19 and 1,355 new cases.
The deaths take the total toll in the current Delta outbreak to 293. There are currently 747 people in Victorian hospitals with COVID-19, including 135 receiving intensive care.
The new infections were found from 68,484 test results processed on Friday.
The latest figures were released as Victoria woke to its first full day on the same level of restrictions after months of extended lockdowns and a ban on travel from Melbourne to the rest of the state.
The changes came into effect from 6pm on Friday, at which point non-essential retailers, entertainment venues, cinemas and gyms were allowed to open their doors.
Catch up on the main COVID-19 news from October 29 with a look back at our blog.
Masks are no longer required outdoors where physical distancing is possible and people can travel to anywhere in the state for any reason.
Caps remain on social gatherings and only fully vaccinated people can attend most events and hospitality venues.
The lifting of restrictions was planned to coincide with the state reaching a target of having 80 per cent of people aged 16 and over fully vaccinated.

Victoria has recorded 1,036 new COVID-19 infections and the deaths of 12 people with COVID-19.
Key points:
The new infections represent the lowest daily case count in a month
More than 80 per cent of Victorians aged 16 and over have now been fully vaccinated
The health department is encouraging people trick-or-treating for Halloween to follow COVID-safe behaviours
The deaths take the toll from the current outbreak to 305.
The health department said the people who died were aged in their 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
There are 702 people in hospital with COVID-19, including 80 on a ventilator.
The new cases were found from 56,768 test results processed on Saturday and brings the number of active infections in the state to 22,013.
It is the lowest daily case count since September 28.
Hospitalisations and deaths tend to lag behind infections by a week or more, so while case numbers are falling, Victorians have been told to brace for more tragedy.

Not looking all that good still.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream
