During filming on the roof of Apple, two days after the recording of the track, the band played ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ right after doing two versions of 'Get Back’ and it led straight into 'I’ve Got A Feeling’. Michael Lindsay-Hogg was once again directing a Beatles’ shoot. He and Paul met regularly at the tail end of 1968, while Hogg was directing The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus, to discuss the filming of The Beatles’ session in January. By the time that fateful Thursday came around, the penultimate day of January would be the last time The Beatles ever played together in front of any kind of audience.

Sorry - I haven't got 4 and a half hours to listen mostly grueling schedules.
I did listen to 40 minutes of bits and pieces.
I am certain that the Beatles got a fair bit of help from professional music arrangers.
There is nothing wrong with that - arrangers would be in any music studio.
They would also pick better chords and melodies to help polish up the songs.
The Beatles would have either known or been taught the natural progression of chords
as and when they needed it for each song.
That takes nothing away from their ability to come up with original ideas for songs.
That is what almost all professional sight reading musicians lack - ideas!
They are good at reading music and suggesting improvements but not writing their own material.
Give the Beatles a break - they were geniuses in their own way.

Dear God I was in kindy when that happened.

1975.

Hmmm now that takes me back. I remember that year was when dad bought a new pale blue Holden. He would wash it every Saturday afternoon and I'd help him by hosing the suds off the car. He had this huge radio and it would be plugged on full volume from the lounge room the whole time.

These were the types of songs I heard as I danced around with the hose in my hand.

I miss every single moment of those days right now.

when a song would make me happy and still does.
Songs were so catchy that you found yourself singing them hours later.
I feel the new generations have missed out on so much.
The Beatles were particularly memorable - a sensation at the time -
