He keeps changing the rules till we don't know what we're allowed to do anymore.
He has created massive fines if you get it wrong and a Gestapo police force
that ruthlessly does his bidding.

On the weekend the cops were shooting people at random in the city
with powerful rubber bullets - that could have blinded someone.
Shoppers and members of the public were running for their lives.
They arrested a man in St Kilda who was eating a kebab -
without a mask on.
How was he supposed to eat?
He was only 500 meters from home and - exercise and buying takeaway food is legal.
The cops arrest innocent people at random and viciously slam them on their faces into the concrete -
handcuff them and charge them with massive fines.
It's not safe to leave your house.

NSW recorded 863 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8:00pm yesterday.

Fifteen people died with COVID in the reporting period – it’s the highest daily number ever recorded in the state.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said 86.2 per cent of over 16s have now had a first vaccine and 61.7 per cent have received both doses.

The Premier said the state was expected to reach 90 per cent first doses by the end of next week.

Health authorities have seen a reduction in cases in Western and south-west Sydney but there has been a surge of cases in regional areas, especially in the Illawarra-Shoalhaven region.

NSW Health said Greenacre, Merrylands, Mount Druitt, Auburn, Guildford, Yagoona, Blacktown and Minto remained areas of concern.

NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard said the "dramatic drop" in cases in Sydney was due to high vaccination rates.

He said he wanted regional areas of the state to follow suit.

"Vaccination is the way out of this current issue in New South Wales and being vaccinated is the single most important step you can take to protecting yourself, your family and your community," he said.

He urged people to get their advice from a doctor and not from social media.

NSW will cut its COVID-19 support payments to businesses on November 30 as the Premier warned her state was in uncharted territory and could not "stuff up" its exit from lockdown.

JobSaver will continue at half its current levels when 80 per cent fully vaccination targets are met
Several freedoms from December 1 will be moved forward when that milestone is reached

The state recorded 941 new infections and six deaths in the 24 hours to 8:00pm last night.

NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet said the state government would continue to support businesses financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic until the end of November.

It comes after the federal government on Tuesday announced it would cut its JobSaver program when a jurisdiction reached 80 per cent double-dose vaccination coverage.

Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg said this was to discourage states from imposing lockdowns.

NSW has endured its equal deadliest day of the COVID-19 pandemic with 15 fatalities, including a woman in her 50s who tested positive to the virus after she died.
Key points:

There have been over 400 deaths from COVID-19 in NSW since the pandemic began
Over 87 per cent of those aged 16 and over have had one dose of a vaccine
Non-urgent day surgery resumes in private facilities from next Tuesday

The state recorded 864 new locally acquired new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8:00pm yesterday

NSW Health said of those who died, three were aged in their 50s, two in their 60s, two in their 70s, six in their 80s, and two people in their 90s.

Five of those who died had received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, nine people were not vaccinated, and one had received one dose.

The woman in her 50s died at her south-western Sydney home.

Doctors say Gladys Berejiklian’s replacement must make expert health advice the focus of the state’s exit from lockdown after NSW recorded 813 new COVID-19 cases and 10 deaths.
Key points:

Two people died from the virus at home, one in Sydney's inner city and in Lake Macquarie
Casino in northern NSW has gone into a snap lockdown after a case in the town
Just over 65 per cent of NSW residents aged 16 and over are fully vaccinated

The NSW Australian Medical Association (AMA) President, Danielle McMullen, said Ms Berejiklian always ensured health advice was considered as part of the state's COVID response, and her successor as Premier needed to do the same.

“We have a long road ahead of us with the COVID-19 pandemic, with lots of decisions to be made and we want to make sure the health advice remains key to the path out of this,” Dr McMullen said.

Ms Berejiklian announced her resignation yesterday, after the state’s corruption watchdog revealed that she was under investigation and her successor will be confirmed next week.

Of today's deaths, one person was aged in their 50s, three were in their 60s, two in their 70s, three in their 80s, and one person was in their 90s.

New South Wales has recorded a "dramatic drop" in COVID-19 cases, with 667 infections and 10 deaths as the state announced an easing of self-quarantine rules for the fully vaccinated.

The cases recorded in the latest reporting period were the lowest since August 19.

"It's quite a dramatic drop," Health Minister Brad Hazzard said.

"All the hard work that we have done ... to have gone from 1,599 cases just three weeks ago to 667 cases today has taken a lot of hard work.

"Please don't ruin that, please don't let this side down. This is a game that we all must win."

Self-quarantine rules for people who have been in close contact with a positive case are being relaxed from October 11.

Any close contact who is vaccinated will only be required to get tested and self-isolate for seven days, instead of 14.

If a person tests positive for COVID-19 they will be have to self-isolate for 14 days, regardless of their vaccination status.

Mr Hazzard said 66.5 per cent of the state's population aged 16 and over was now fully vaccinated, and 88.1 per cent had received their first dose.

The Health Minister expects the state to hit its 70 per cent milestone in the middle of the week.
