Those bloody calls

I'm currently getting between 10 and 15 missed calls and text messages from scam arseholes.

So far I have been warned
That I'm going to be arrested....unless I dial 1
That my internet is going to be disconnected...unless I dial 1
That several parcels are going to be re-directed...Unless I dial 1
That the FBI/Interpol?Australian police and Border police are coming to get me....unless I dial 1
And the latest, $300 to $1000 is going to be withdrawn from my bank account to pay Amazon/ Ebay/ and various other fees...unless I dial 1

And what is our overpriced telecommunications provider doing?

Stuff all

And our wonderful grubberment who taxes us to death "to protect us"

Stuff all.

I just wish I had some means of sending an electric charge down the line to blow them up

Better still a drone carrying some serious munitions, to blow the lot of them to kingdom come.

I have had a new one recently, asking whether I have solar panels! Strong Indian accent!

I get offers to extend my vehicle warranty every day. I keep them on the phone as long as possible and eventually tell them that I don't own a car. My wife is taking the vehicles in the divorce and I drive a company owned vehicle, so I'm not lying.

I get the solar panel calls also. I can buy the panels for 1/5 of the price and install them myself. Most of these places want $40k to install solar.

We use the land line very rarely.
Any calls to there are identified or fake.

The mobile identifies them or I answer very cautiously. Just a 'hello"

Cant even insult the baseturds.

It used to be fun screwing around with them, calling them names like noddy, nig nog and darkie.

But now there is no one to insult....takes all the fun out of it.

That's pretty tough. Can you sue them?

Nah.

If I want to insult someone, I usually just ring the council, the traffic infringement department or Roads and traffic and vent my spleen.

Being retired, I have plenty of time.

And it fun being just insulting enough, but not too much, to piss them off.
