The last US military planes have left Afghanistan, marking the end of the United States’ longest war.
The last US military planes left Afghanistan with troops and the remaining core diplomatic staff, Commander of US Central Command, Gen. Frank McKenzie announced Monday at the Pentagon.
The US departure marks the end of a fraught, chaotic and bloody exit from the United States’ longest war.
The departure marks the first time in nearly two decades that the US and its allies have not had troops on the ground in Afghanistan after $2 trillion in spending and nearly 2,000 US troops killed in action.
A senior State Department official said Monday that the State Department will not have civilians on the ground once the US military leaves Afghanistan. “We are not going to have civilians on the ground once the military has left,” they said.
The official said that they expected the US Embassy in Kabul to suspend embassy operations upon the end of the military retrograde, but said “that doesn't mean that we are suspending any commitments to American citizens in Afghanistan, to at risk Afghans, to the Afghan people.”

Now we need to just let the place stew into its own disgusting filth.
No more aid,
No more money
No more refugees
No more anything, let them all kill each other and leave the civilized world alone.
The only caveat......If they try to cause any problems in the civilized world.....NUKE EM

The morons are defiant until the last.
We really need to simply wall them away and let them all kill each other.

BOMB PLOTS FOILED
KABUL: As many as five rockets fired at the Kabul airport were intercepted by a US anti-missile system, reports say.
The US C-RAM defense system detects potential attacks and uses a machine gun to destroy rockets before they hit their target. Officials think the rockets were launched by ISIS-K radicals.
On the weekend a US drone strike blew up a vehicle that was reportedly carrying multiple suicide bombers.
Unconfirmed reports say that up to nine civilians were killed in the targeted strike. The US Central Command said it was assessing the claim.

We should never set foot in the ME again. Each and every time an atrocity is committed in the west we should execute the perpetrator (if he's not already in pieces) and deport every one of his family! Every last one. Kick them out.
How many Americans and allies has that bumbling idiot in the WH left behind? 10,000?

A group of retired special military have taken it upon themselves and banded together to get the abandoned Americans and allies out that the idiot Biden just left behind. They've taken over and vow to leave no man behind. There's a GoFundMe page to help them.
That POS in the WH should be in prison.
It's all good though because at least there are no mean tweets right?

Afghanistan isn’t a country. It’s a stone age Brigadoon of quarreling tribes, ethnic groups, Islamic denominations, and warlords manned by young men with old Russian and American rifles. Unlike the fiction of a democratic Afghanistan, that is something they will die for.
And in the coming years you will see some of those same soldiers who laid down their guns fighting and dying for tribes and warlords, even fighting the Taliban, in the real endless war.
The forever war isn’t something we invented after 9/11: Afghanistan has always been at war.
Americans are impressed that the Taliban held out for 20 years. They shouldn’t be.

With drone technology what it is today.
How hard would it be to drop a few thousand sleeper drone bombs around the place with fairly simple weapon identification software?
Every time it sees a gun, it flys at the target and blows a small, but fatal, charge into the back of the targets head.
No more putting soldiers in danger.
Very small outlay.
Very effective, cannot be tricked, has no morals and never questions its job.
To keep the drones out of tge hands of the primitives, if they are touched, they blow up.
They can even recharge off any available power line by induction.
And the best part.
If they are not carrying a weapon, it wont kill you.
As most of the nutcases love waving around weapons, its a win win.
