Bobby,
Thanks Nom,
yes - oxygen is dangerous in the wrong hands -
we may not have a choice if we get too many hospital patients.
Friends and family would have to turn into doctors and nurses
and hope for the best.
At least they could get advice over the phone.
A real doctor on the phone should be able to hear if the home carers were incapable?
Many people already have home oxygen for lung problems.
Many people already take multiple medications per day at home.
It is possible.

Possible and expensive, but not yet necessary.
Not yet but it could happen.
I hope the Govt has 10s of 1000s of oxygen bottles ready so
we won't end up like India?
This subject is never mentioned in the media.

Hospitals in the west and south west of Sydney aren't coping. There are 6 hour waits for an ambulance and when they get to the hospital the hospital won't take them. These are the people who have consistently flouted the rules and done the wrong thing.

Everyone in Sydney is being punished because of these people.

Hospitals in the north and east are fine and I'd like to keep it that way.

Yes I heard that.
We have the same problem with hospitals in our west - of Melbourne.
100s of staff are at home in quarantine as they were exposed to Covid.
The ambulances have to bypass those hospitals.

The NSW government has unveiled its long-awaited roadmap for schools to return to face-to-face teaching, as the state recorded 882 COVID-19 cases and two deaths.
Key points:

High case numbers mean NSW Health will no longer report the isolation status of new infections
All school students will be expected to return to classrooms by November 8
NSW infection figures, including hotel quarantine, have surpassed Victoria

The state government said students would have a "staggered return" to schools from the end of October and would delay HSC exams until November 9.

It also announced vaccinations for school staff would be mandatory by November 8, with priority for jabs given to them from September 6.

Mask wearing will also be mandatory for staff and high school students, and "strongly encouraged" for primary school students.

The schools announcement comes as high infection numbers mean NSW Health will no longer report the isolation status of new cases, and whether they’re linked to known clusters daily.

“With current case volumes, this data is not a meaningful representation of case investigations,” a spokesperson said.

This data will now be included in a weekly report.

NSW has recorded 1,035 new COVID-19 cases and two more deaths in the 24 hours to 8:00pm yesterday.

It’s a new daily case record for the state,
and the largest number ever recorded by an Australian jurisdiction in a 24-hour period.

Two women in their 70s and 80s died in the reporting period.

The woman in her 70s died at Nepean Hospital, after acquiring her infection there earlier this month. She is fourth death linked to an outbreak at the hospital.

NSW Health's Jeremy McAnulty said the woman was fully vaccinated, but had "some serious underlying diseases".

A woman in her 80s died at Westmead Hospital.

Health Minister Brad Hazzard said given the "massive" numbers of people getting vaccinated COVID-19 restrictions on weddings in NSW will be eased from 12:01am on Friday, September 3.

He said five guests would be allowed to attend weddings, but the specifics were still being worked out.

He said the couple, “those officiating and perhaps a photographer” wouldn’t count as guests.

There are now 778 patients with COVID being treated in hospital, 125 of those are in intensive care and 52 require ventilation.

Dr McAnulty said there were "quite a few" people in their 20s and 30s who were in intensive care.

And you can bet the Russia, America, Korea, and many other countries have similar or worse.

No country should be experimenting with bio weapons.
All those who are responsible need to be put on trial and
hanged in public on live TV even if there are 1000s of them.
