Yes Billy. You and Humpty are quite right. Remember when he so accurately said that there were only 15 cases in the USA and in a few days, there would be none?billy the kid wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 11:41 amAah well...thats normal isnt it.....

Canberra press conference on ABC 24 now.
They are absolutely panicking in the Govt.

I expect NSW Govt will include Queanbeyan and other NSW areas on the ACT Border to be included.

THREE more have been identified. I wonder how many more there will be.
Apparently, the supermarkets were very busy yesterday afternoon. People must have thought that the "lockdown" at 5pm meant supermarkets too. It didn't, Woolworths is open from 7 am until 10 pm, plenty of time to do the shopping without long queues.

More than 3000 close contacts identified in Canberra Covid outbreak: Health Minister
More than 3000 close contacts have been identified for exposure sites released by ACT Health on Thursday, Health Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith said on Friday.
"We've got more than 3000 close contacts identified from those various exposure sites, and known contacts already," Ms Stephen-Smith told 2CC radio.
"Wednesday evening it was positive wastewater; yesterday morning it was one case; by yesterday afternoon it was four cases: This is Delta strain," she said of the ACT's snap decision to lockdown for seven days from Thursday at 5pm.
Case investigations to identify the source of the first infection were still ongoing yesterday afternoon, Ms Stephen-Smith said.
"The genomic sequencing will come back today, we're expecting it around lunchtime, and that will really help to identify whether there is a link to an existing known case," she said.

The number of close contacts linked to Canberra's Covid outbreak has grown to more than 4000, as the amount of exposure sites also continues to increase.
Health officials on Saturday said there were 4500 people who have self-identified as close contacts linked to virus cases, an increase from the 3900 who had been known about on Friday.
The increase in close contacts also coincided with two new venues added to the list of exposure sites in the ACT.
Among them was a new time for Fiction Bar in Civic, which was linked to the first case identified in the ACT as part of the outbreak.
The new time for Fiction includes the period from between 9pm and 11.59pm on Saturday, August 7.
The exposure time for the Civic venue also includes the previously listed time of between 12am and 4.45am on Sunday, August 8.
