Our two biggest pro union lefties arguing for unsafe work practices.

If a sole operator wants to do shit like that, fine with me.
If they did that on one of my projects (they wouldn't because I don't hire dickhead cowboys) they'd never get hired again.
To save 10 mins of proper set up time and risk shutting down a worksite for 2 days because the moron fell is not worth it.
Yes ,
Aussie & Smith think that this is safe:
I'm asking you how is it unsafe by so far all you and turdie have done is run away :oops

Why lie so obviously Bobby. Neither Mr Smith nor I have said it was safe. No ladder is 'safe.'
When a ladder is on the ground, if the leg somehow walks forward a bit, there is usually more ground to hold it.
Is that the case in this photo? Getting on and off the ladder from the handrail could cause the ladder to bump forward. I could keep going and going.

In 20yrs of painting I've NEVER seen a ladder leaning against a wall walk forward when someone climbs on it. You've obviously only ever seen photos of ladders and never used one. There is absolutely no way that ladder can walk forward. Physics dictates that your weight on a rung will push the legs backwards .. where they are wedged up against the handrail. Stop embarrassing yourself

In 20yrs of painting ....

Hi John,
so you're a painter trying to mix it with intellectuals on politics forums?
That explains it.
