We all know that OzPol is the place to go to have a bash......and I largely stay out of it. But, today, I have decided to tell you about my experience, personal. Get your notebook ready Neferti.......

I have met Muslims before through TIB's (Hindu) Family in England. No issue. Good blokes.

Fast forward to now.

I have two Indian Muslims driving my Cab. They wanted me to visit them today at their Home, so I did. Very spartan. Eg...no TV. They work at least six days a week (not in the Cab......) with working at a 711 (owned by a Family Member) their primary job.

Never knew this until today.

One bloke's Wife and kids are in India, stuck there because of Covid. The other bloke's Wife and kids are in Brisbane, he being up here to assist his relation with the 711. He has a Son at one of the most prestigious private schools in Brisbane, and that would be costing him a motza...so he dedicates his life to work, work and work to support them.

So, I have had the social chit chat I thought would be enough and thought it was time to leave. Oh no. They had two mates in that Flat they insisted I had to meet, dragged them out of bed and I met them. Very friendly. Okay...time to go. Nah.

I was offered some 'sweets.' I know what that means and said that I was fine and they need not bother. Got up to leave. Nah.....they were not letting me go until I had 'sweets.' So, I agree. One bloke goes to the fridge, emerges with this bloody great bowl of cut up fruit in some sort of custard....and only for me. I had to start on it and they had nothing.

Ultimately, even though it was great, I confessed there was no way I could eat that large quantity, so they gave me it in a 'doggy bag.'

You cannot beat their humble hospitality.

Nothing bigoted in what I said and yes I do have muslim friends both male and female and not once have they tried to give me food that no-one else in the room would eat. Go figure.

Really...you are an idiot. You have no idea of the way they deal with guests. Best you can do is shut up....and then talk to me when you have been inside their hospitality.

I have an excellent idea thank you. Not with Indians but with muslims which this topic is about. Forcing food on you no-one else will eat is the weirdest thing I have ever heard. Maybe they spat in it.
