The next big market crash is not too far away

Post by Nom De Plume » Sun Jun 20, 2021 11:08 pm

I see that Dr Michael Burry is back on the scene. He seems to think that crypto's are going to crash.

Could form a part of 'the mother of all crashes'.
He also warns against buying 'meme' stocks, such as game stop stocks and the like.
Michael James Burry (/ˈbɜːri/; born June 19, 1971) is an American investor, hedge fund manager, and physician. He founded the hedge fund Scion Capital, which he ran from 2000 until 2008, before closing the firm to focus on his own personal investments. Burry is best known for being amongst the first investors to foresee and profit from the subprime mortgage crisis that occurred between 2007 and 2010.

Once interest rates start to climb I see some big losers.

Once the rental/ mortgage moratorium ends in the next couple of weeks, then the shit will hit the fan!
That, coupled with inflation, may stop any kind of interest rate hike by the Fed.

The CDC extended the nationwide eviction moratorium on May 29, 2021. The moratorium was extended through June 2021, and that is where it remains today. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to follow these developments.
