NSW Treasurer announces $196 million spend to supercharge school curriculum...
PLUS apparently plans are underway to change the hours that kids go to school....
I see....
I suppose when you have an incompetent Education Minister in NSW, what more would
you expect.
I can just imagine the howls of protest from parents in NSW who have already
structured their lives around certain start and finish school times...
I wonder what will happen during daylight saving if schools decide for example
to start at say 8am...this will become 7am in daylight saving...
I wonder if the new curriculum will be structured by the looney left
and include studies in politics, black lives matter and the promotion
of lesbianism, homosexuality and transgenderism in primary schools...
You know.. all the good stuff the kids need to learn about at age 6 or 7...
Who knows...maybe the Queensland idea of giving the kids breakfast
at school because a lot of the kids arrive at school with no breakfast
in their stomachs might catch on in NSW...
OR does this already exist in NSW...
I feel sorry for the kids of today.....
Kids at a school near where I live arent even allowed to play on the oval
unless they bring their hat to school...they are just told to sit under that tree
over there and watch....
Sad isnt it.....

We've been going through this in the US. It's an attempt to get control of kids from their parents. They start with free lunches for the poor and then it expands to breakfast also, so they can better study. Then they add after school care and dinner. Meanwhile the school gets federal money to pay for this and the parents can pocket their government welfare that they were given to feed their kids.

The agenda is sneaked in gradually with anti-racism (no problems there), but then they add in LGBTQLJDHLJG as a protected class and then try to introduce trannies into the mainstream and the girls locker rooms by high school. Critical Racism Theory is pushed on them so they either hate white people or feel guilty about being white. The 3 Rs are totally neglected and public schools become more of an indoctrination center. History is revised to promote their social agenda and their zeal for big government and a disdain for religious teaching. Schools are supposed to train the kids for what they will need to be successful adults. 100 years ago, a kid would graduate high school knowing how to read and write, balance a check book, write a check, and choose his friends wisely. Parents were responsible for raising the kids and making sure they were fed and had proper moral and religious values.

The school system started going mad as early as the 80s when my daughter was at Primary School. I have lots of friends who were School Teachers (or University Lecturers) who were Old School taught. My daughter's High School English Teacher didn't know the difference (for example) between Weather, Whether and Wether! I marked that homework paper in RED. That particular Teacher, straight out of Uni, ended up overdosing on Heroin and died while my daughter was still in High School!!! My School Teachers were very particular about Grammar, for instance. These days, anything goes. It will get worse, no doubt about that! Kids typing UR for you are and so forth, they won't be able to spell shit. :rofl :rofl

I think sometimes that the children of today, and in fact, probably the last few
decades have been indoctrinated rather than taught.
Alan Jones and Mark Latham (whether you like them or not) have been
at pains for some time now on SKY to expose the "education system"
which currently exists in NSW....and its flaws....
I was staggered to hear that young girls who are having difficulty with
identifying their gender (I wonder why) are encouraged to have double
masectomies...
The topic of gender fluid ideology simply has me shaking my head...
Apparently the "Safe Schools" programme was abandoned in NSW due to
lack of government funding...
Apparently the "programme" is still operating however...

I commend Latham for his efforts...

Adolescence! What a weird time in a kids life. Doesn't last long, thank goodness. This encouraging kids to change "genders" is ridiculous. Parents are supposed to raise kids, Teachers are supposed to teach the 3Rs and that doesn't include telling them to "let it all hang out".

Back in the day, kids left school at 12! Then worked either at home or elsewhere. Then they could leave school at 14, then 15, then 16 or 17, etc. Those that left school at 12, 14, 15 were able to read, write, do sums and in some cases learn a language because the Teachers were DEDICATED, often Old Maids who loved passing on their knowledge.

Times have changed.

Schools (particularly the high school years) should be the same hours as normal working hours.

That is 38 hours a week probably 8.30 to 4 with 1/2 hour for lunch
They balk at ONLY 4 weeks a year leave

The biggest issue I had with new young employees is that they couldnt handle the hours.

Most schools do less than 6 hours and have 3 breaks a day
They generally only work 4 days a week with a "sports day" or break from teaching
12 plus weeks ayear leave is also rediculious, how are kids going to get ready for school if its just one big holiday?

The kids leave school and suddenly have to cope with 30-40% more work required.
Many have a hard time of it.

Get schools to get the kids ready for work, isnt that what they are there for anyway?

I know teachers will have a real tizzy about this post.
They know, deep down, that its true.
But they like the short hours and short weeks and many holidays

They scream (we do work at home and during the holidays)
Bull shite, The amount of "homework" teachers do still puts their hours considerably less than a normal working professional
And they like to be termed professional even with the lowest academic requirement level.

As a professional engineer, a normal week for me would be 45-50 hours at work
Often 10-20 hours at home and no overtime.

I doubt any teacher could cope with this type of workload or hours.
I wasn't just marking papers, I was designing and working out serious mathematical computations.

Lets get teachers working
Lets get kids learning
Lets get kids prepared for life
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream
