The Australian’s Robert Gottliebsen says Australia is “in a terrible lot of trouble” with the $90 billion “con-job” submarine program.

“The French sent out here a whole series of negotiators – led by a very skilled female negotiator – and they sold us a deal that would have the ships here earlier, it would have Australian content,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“But as soon as we signed it, as soon as we said yes, they said ‘oh that’s not the deal at all, we’ve got a totally different deal for you, we’re going to do the lot and it’s going to cost you a lot more money’.

“It’s not going to cost $90 billion, it’s going to cost $120-150 billion …
it is a nonsense and it has to stop.”

Im not surprised....
When you have a chance, read "Confessions of an Economic Hitman"
It wouldnt be too hard for anyone to sell our muppet politicians anything.
The French have sold us a king sized dump...
BUT hey...even though we the plebs have to pay our taxes to the politicians
for their incompetence (and the subs), the very same politicians will still eat lobster
tomorrow and roast lamb the next...
Nothing changes.....
To discover those who rule over you, first discover those who you cannot criticize...Voltaire
Its coming...the rest of the world versus islam....or is it here already...

It's a rip off.
We can't get anything right here.
Look at the Seasprite helicopter program -
they flushed $1billion down the toilet but
that's only petty cash to what they are flushing now.

Meanwhile the Chinese are already prepared for war -
the first stop is Taiwan.

$800 million for a new football stadium in Sydney...
The waste and incompetence is at both state and federal level...
Even Costello back in the day sold two thirds of our gold reserves for threepence an ounce...
(Actually it was $300 an ounce...but you get the drift...)
They are all incompetent fools....

There seems to be nothing we can do to stop the waste of money and the incompetence.
Sometimes I wish the Governor General would sack all the politicians and
replace them with qualified bureaucrats who would know how to run things properly.
It's actually a failure of our democratic system.
That's why China is ahead of us -
their dictatorship seems to make the right decisions and
leaves us looking like a bunch of clowns.
