Socceroos beat Kuwait comfortably 3-0. YAY!
Their next qualifying game is on at 5.00am EST tomorrow morning and I hope they crush Chinese Taipei.

Socceroos smashed Chinese Taipei 5-1. YAY and well done! They play Nepal on Saturday.
There's a spanner in the works that will stop them playing at home in September though and they will have to continue to sweat it out in the ridiculous ME heat.
Seems like it's different rules for different sport.

https://www.sportingnews.com/au/footba ... offrpxmh1hThe Socceroos' hopes of playing a World Cup qualifier in Australia later this year have been squashed in the wake of a 5-1 win over Chinese Taipei on Friday.
A recent report in The Sunday Telegraph claimed Football Australia were in talks with the government about shortening quarantine requirements to ensure the green and gold could play on home soil in September.
Forced to play four qualifiers in Kuwait this month, Australia's hopes of regaining home-ground advantage anytime soon have however been shot down by former Socceroo Robbie Slater.
“There will worry to be had because we won’t be playing here (Australia), we will be over there,” Slater said on Fox Sports on Friday.
"From what I’ve heard and what I know is that they’ve already met with the government and they’ve said no. No home games - it's not possible in September.
"This phase of qualifying is about getting ready for what looms in September which will be very, very difficult and that would’ve been even if we had home games.
"We’ve got a fantastic record at home in World Cup qualifying but when you’re talking about playing in a hub in the Middle East...”
Seems like it's different rules for different sport.

Jayzuz...why get excited about us beating minnows? Would you be as watery in the knees if the Australian Cricket Team beat The Eskimo's best 11?Black Orchid wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 2:49 pmWell we beat Nepal 3-0. Jordon has done us before and is the first decent opposition Australia will face in these qualifiers.
