More than 24,000 test results were carried out.
A "testing blitz" is underway at the Arcare Aged Care facility in Maidstone after a resident and a nurse tested positive to COVID-19 on Sunday.
"Arcare is saddened to advise that we have two new cases of COVID-19 at our Maidstone residence," a statement from the facility read.
"One is a 79-year-old resident who lives in close proximity to the first two residents diagnosed.
"The second is an agency registered nurse who last worked at the residence yesterday."
The resident, who had both doses of the Pfizer vaccine, is asymptomatic but will be transferred to hospital for public health reasons, coordinated by the Department of Health.
The employee had received the first dose of the vaccine and is also asymptomatic.
All team members who worked at Arcare on Saturday are isolating and will get a COVID-19 test.

We're doomed to another long lockdown.

Empty queue lines at the Melbourne Showgrounds COVID vaccination hub right now so, if you’re eligible to be vaccinated, come and get the #jabdone!
Enter Gate 11, Epsom Rd, Ascot Vale.

If people are locked down how can they travel to get jabbed?

Empty?
It's not like that now.
The places are all overloaded -
I know that -
someone with a priority pass and booking had to wait in a line 5 hours to get jabbed.
Stuff that - standing & waiting in the cold all day -
I'd catch the death of a cold doing that.

That pic was supposedly taken around 3.30pm today. Maybe it depends on the time of day. Everyone probably lines up early.

Yes - maybe if I turned up late I might be able to slip in?
I have one close by.

People usually line up for things early in case they miss out. It might pay to call them to find the slow times if you want to get the jab or just show up mid afternoon.
Meanwhile Gladys is very unhappy with ScoMo and isn't holding back. 3000 people are coming into NSW from overseas weekly and I'd love to know where they are all coming from.

I can't get through when I call - it's overloaded and the website is too.

Maybe follow Twitter or the news. I saw the empty vax site here and says it was posted an hour ago ...

I don't know what time they close but most people like to be home by dinner time. Unless you can get a doctor or medical centre to do it it's probably all in the timing.

Thanks - I might try tomorrow - just turn up at about 3.00pm.
There is one large center very close by.
