The exciting thing was, my mower had only 2 blades on it.
But the disc had the slots in it to put 4 blades in it, so I put 4 there !!!!!!!!!
Can hardly wait to use it again.
My thinking is, it'll be cutting 1/2 the grass per blade rotation. Might be easier and smoother on the motor.

Also put in new oil (valvoline), new spark plug and new air filter.

4 blades?

It might stall in thick long grass.

My lawn tractor threw a pulley. My boys fixed it and mowed the lawn, but I still need to install a new battery and front tire. I was hoping a battery replacement job would happen and I could get a free used battery, but that's not going to happen.

My 2 blade Victa back in the 70s worked ok in long grass...I just took it slow and increased
the throttle a tad...dont know whether four blades would cause it to stall...
From memory, mine would only stall if I had the blades too low or the grass was wet...

Science would tell me that 4 blades would have more friction than 2 blades.

When the grass gets long I use a 1/2 width cutting and keep the revs on full.
Laboring a motor is really bad for them, revving is good

Mowed my lawn on Sunday.

It was wet grass, I hate wet grass, it clogs up the mower catcher and body.

But the pickup was Sunday, so it was do it then or have smelly grass cuttings for two weeks until the next pickup.

The lawn don't even look good, too much mud and the grass had no body.
Growing to quickly thins it out too much.

It will take two or three mods to get it right, but I'm off to another three or four weeks of invalid watching soon, so it will turn to shite again before I get back.

Such is life.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream
