Earlier this month, to the fury of veterans, Melbourne’s Anzac Day March was cancelled for the second year running, with officials citing the coronavirus threat.
But another march is going ahead some than four weeks earlier. Indeed, a whole week of street protests and activity is planned — by Extinction Rebellion. They call it ” the big one”, declaring “we need everyone on the streets”, even telling supporters to “take time off work”.
This is their big week of occupying the streets, creating a public nuisance and further undermining the corona-shattered economy of the Melbourne CBD — and this is Daniel Andrews’ Victoria, where veterans are punished for their service to the nation and anti-democratic anarchist freaks indulged.

In a few years, there won't be any WW2 vets left. This 2 or 3 year denial to gather may silence them permanently and they have the experience we need to hear from.
