Why do some men listen to solve?
Is it due their lack of emotional maturity, do they lack empathy, are they insecure?

Must be a language thing. I don't understand the question.

Ah, sorry.
Comes from a phrase I heard a while ago.
'Men listen to solve, women listen to sense.'
Last night I thought, why do men listen to solve?'

I'm very guilty of this. In my mind, I just assume she is telling me her problems because she is looking for a solution. It's just in the last few years, I've learned that she doesn't want suggestions and I should keep my mouth shut. I honestly wanted to help. It's not like I was trying to annoy her.
