When is rubbish not rubbish.

I see that a Victorian Local Government Council (Mornington) is going to start fining residents
for offences which amount to placing the wrong type of rubbish in the wrong bin...
In other words if you place rubbish in your bin which is provided for recyclables and
it isnt in the recyclable definition, then you could be fined $660.
Ummm...
Its rubbish....
Ummm...
Once someone discards rubbish, they cease to own it...
Can you be fined for stealing rubbish...
NO.
BUT you can be charged with "Larceny by finding" if you happen to "find"
someone elses property...eg bricks on the front of a building site...(which have been there a while)
..a betting ticket lost in the betting ring...and so on...
BESIDES...
How does the Council prove ownership of rubbish in someones bin...
It could have been placed..(like it often is) in the bin by a neighbour...
Whose rubbish is it...
This is another con where Australians are brainwashed into believing that
in order to protect the environment, WE MUST categorize our rubbish...
WELL NO....
Its rubbish...
That is up to the Council which disposes of the rubbish....
I once took rubbish in the boot of my car to a tip...
I had to place the rubbish in 10 different places, otherwise
I would be refused entry to the tip...
WE are being conned into doing the work that Councils should be doing...
That is...categorizing rubbish.....

Forgot to mention that a multiple offender will lose their bin privileges and be
sent to recycling education classes if they want their bin privileges back.
In other words, youll be sent to the sin bin.....

Isnt it great.

They charge us for doing their job so they can make money from recycling.

They also charge us for green waste (trees cuttings etc) which the sell to a huge landscaping mob.
All the mulching and processing is done at the tip, Ill bet the landscaping mob has a friend in our local council and get it for nics.

The Central Coast Council is the single crookedest council in Australia.
They have been criminally negligent in wasting close to $600,000,000.00 over the last 6 years.
They "Apparently" have no idea where its gone..
This despite the fact that they have the highest rates in Australia.
Have the fastest growing new building estates (Which attract some pretty hefty fees and charges)
And have one of the worst road system in Australia with road damage costing motorists millions every year.
They seldom mow the streets (never once mine in 32 years)
The sports fields are generally mown by the resident clubs because the council is useless.

They have demanded a 15% rate increase for the next how ever many years and this on top of the "Rate rise we had to have" because they overspent a few years ago.
If we dont pay this hefty increase, they have stated that services will suffer.

Bring it on, They have done nothing in my areas for 32 years, I can wait another 32 years.

We have approached ICAC and been told there is no case to answer.
We are currently under administration during investigation, by a friend of a couple of Councillors.
He has found no wrongdoing...surprise, surprise, and all for $6,000.00 a week plus accommodation at the best venue on the coast.
Of course he will find nothing.....he is a crook too.

Its so corrupt that Im expecting a Mexican cartel to set up soon.
They at least would be less corrupt.

I lived on the CC back in the day....
Even before Wyong and Gosford amalgamated, there was funny business....
I think its rife in all levels of government....
I even have doubts about transparency in our Body Corporate....

Last year I had workmen here on bin day (both recycle and normal rubbish bins) and when the recycling truck came along, the bloke got out of the truck to chat to the workmen, and proceeded to empty both bins into the recycling truck. I was watching this and I asked the workmen what the bloke said and apparently he said "it all goes to landfill anyway". Why bother sorting the rubbish?

My bins always emptied, even the branches that get stuck in the green bin and they get put back in the same spot

I think garbage bins should be used for politicians....
After all...they are garbage....
