I think a lot of people are going to "wait and see" before getting the jab. The annual flu jab is also available at the moment, wonder who won't bother getting that. ;)
I always get it.

I notice they suggest you dont get either shot within two weeks of the other, so I will have to wait if the free over sixty five one becomes available soon.

Well, I had the flu jab yesterday and have no intention of going anywhere near a doctor in the foreseeable future. :rofl The last time I saw my GP was April, 2020 for the flu jab!

My parents had their second Pfizer jab about a month ago. We took them out to eat for the first time in over a year. We went to Babe's Chicken Dinner House. My granddaughter is in town and they wanted to see her. The room was packed with at least 150 people. We had 8 at our table alone. The food was great.

Well done Tex

I am looking forward to be able to return to cruising without going into two weeks quarantine on returning home .

Not sure how long that will be though!

Maybe the from and only to Australian ports for a short cruise might get around the quarantine at some stage soon!

I don't plan going anywhere so that's my excuse for not getting the jab.

I have to travel overseas so I'll have to get it.
Blame Alan Joyce if I die.

Alan Joyce - Qantas - Irish gnome poof.

I thought you were keen to get it Bobby?

I intend to go overseas this year so I may have to consider it unless they allow you to quarantine at home on re-entry. Will see what happens by then. But I'd never consider flying Qantas again either way.

There is no choice.

Hoping to someday travel overseas again? You're going to have to roll up your sleeves. Qantas boss Alan Joyce has confirmed that international travel will likely only be accessible to people who have had the jab, suggesting that "vaccination passports" will soon become the new normal.

Well I've said that all along from the very beginning but I can't see how Joyce can speak for anyone other than Qantas and we always knew Qantas would require a vaccination 'certificate'. That doesn't mean all airlines will.

I think they will all follow suit.

Sorry but blaming that toxic little queer leprechaun wont do you any good if you end up dead from the shot. I hope people start to realise that these tinpot fascists are taking us all for a ride to a place we don't want to go.

Ummmm... based on that picture, I would be concerned that Qantas will be requiring the new Chinese Swab before you can step aboard.
