Minor parties help the dictator.

Victoria's coronavirus state of emergency powers set to be extended until December 16

Victoria's state of emergency is set to be extended for another nine months, after negotiations between the Andrews government and the crossbench.
Key points:

The state of emergency gives legally enforceable powers to the Chief Health Officer
The penalties for young people who were fined for COVID breaches will be halved, and there will be changes to the appeals process for people with detention orders
The state of emergency will be extended until December 16

The government has won the support of the Greens, Reason Party and Animal Justice Party,
to extend the powers until the middle of December.

A debate on the laws, which give the Chief Health Officer wide-ranging powers to enforce public health orders including hotel quarantine and mask wearing, is taking place in the Upper House this afternoon.

The bill has already passed the Lower House.

The government has agreed to halve the penalties for young people who are fined for COVID-19 breaches, and change the appeals processes for people with detention orders.

The minor parties have betrayed us:

List of traitors:

Greens,
Reason Party and
Animal Justice Party

The vaccine is already here –
It will be in the arms of 75% of people very soon -
we don’t need any more lockdowns under emergency powers.
Dan has had a taste of absolute power and he loves it –
he needs more of it.
We have been betrayed by those minor parties.
It’s a very serious situation to suspend democracy and take away all your human rights.

The Greens are a party of traitors to Australia nowadays and I've never even heard of the Reason Party.

Daniel Andrews continues to ‘play to people’s fear and emotion’:

Matthew Guy

Former Victorian opposition leader Matthew Guy has slammed Premier Daniel Andrews for “playing to people’s fear and emotion” after the government passed its state of emergency extension.

The state of emergency powers gives the Victorian government the ability to lockdown the state in response to the coronavirus, and provides the legal tool to impose restrictions such as curfews and stay-at-home orders.

The bill passed the Victorian upper house on Tuesday after the government successfully negotiated with the crossbench including the Greens, the Reason Party, and Animal Justice.

Mr Guy said it is “quite astounding” the Andrews government thinks it’s necessary to still have state of emergency legislation in operation until December.

He said the government has justified this move by speaking “in emotion” and claiming the legislation aims to keep Victorians safe.

“Andrews will always talk in emotion, that’s how he justifies all of his arguments, all of his cost blow outs, all of his lockdowns, it’s all about his emotion, playing to people’s fear and emotion.”

Excellent speech! Thanks for bring that to the forum Bobby. I concur with his sentiments.

Define emotion n. 1. A mental state that arises spontaneously rather than through conscious effort and is often accompanied by physiological changes; a feeling: the emotions of joy, sorrow, and anger. 2. Such mental states or the qualities that are associated with them, especially in contrast to reason: a decision based on emotion rather than logic.
