Yes, something set me off. I looked in here and saw it was a tip. This board does not deserve that. Because it is a tip we have mad old Aussie trying to become Admin again.

The sewer Twitter blog is where you reside. This place has been going fine until you forgot your convictions and reappeared, but that's only because you realized that your Twitter blog is a failure due to your overmoderation and it is a lw shitpile.
You just want to turn this place into another monk Twitter blog lw shitpile

Did you have anyone specific in mind when you wrote that?boxy wrote: I wonder what his thoughts are on having someone follow him around, calling him a fluffy bunny at every opportunity, to express their disagreement with his writing? Is stalking a legitimate form of free speech?

Pointing out the lies of a dishonest cockhead is free speech. Try to silence that pointing out by whining "wahhhhh Im being stalked" is not
Re: Phillip Pullman on Free Speech
No I don't think it is. A person should be able to express their hate thoughtfully. Vulgarity however does not by necessity express hate well thought. For example National Action/ The Third Reich express/ed hate of other races. IQ expresses vulgarity towards JM. The former groups seek/sort justification for their hatred of other races. IQ merely seeks to be as vulgar as possible. I am satisfied that the former groups genuinely hate many other races, based on their speeches. I am satisfied that IQ thoroughly enjoys toying with JM and causing him annoyance on this forum, based on his dramatic emoting.AiA in Atlanta wrote:Obviously hate speech is a different matter, but some people are so sensitive ...Sappho wrote:I'm an advocate of free speech and free access to information AiA, but that does not mean to say that I advocate for that free speech and/or information be everywhere available, or that it be expressed in the most vulgar terms possible.
For me... what you quote there and what I claim here is the difference between a cheap cliché and real belief.
Do you see the difference now? The former is thinking in words. The latter is emoting in words. Surely, you do not believe also that emotions expressed should have as free a reign as thoughts expressed?

Oh I am over the dweeb. I showed he was a total coward once away from his keyboard. But he shouldn't be left to drive people off this or other boards. Free speech is more than just letting jerks spout obscenities you know and AiA using the free speech argument fraudulently. AiA just enjoys IQ’s trolling.

Re: Phillip Pullman on Free Speech
For reasons beyond my comprehension, this forum has a long and illustrious history of slagging off at another's expense. It's a tradition about these parts that attracted the masters of verbal vitriol.Jovial Monk wrote:But he shouldn't be left to drive people off this or other boards.
IQ is merely living that tradition.
