Re: facebook bullies
I only have friends too and only use it for messenger occasionally but the ads were getting out of control which just turns me off.
I was getting ABC Geelong and I'd hide/delete that then I'd get ABC Toowoomba so I'd hide/delete that then ABC Dubbo, Bendigo, Dorrigo, Ballina, Gosford and on and on and on. ABC everywhere. It got so annoying I just stopped even looking, unless I need to.
I don't go to FB to read news. Nor do I want to see their targeted ads.

Re: facebook bullies
............... But there is an alternative scenario with very different consequences. Governments don’t like being bullied, and more importantly, they don’t like being bullied in public. Masters in the dark arts of government relations know pressure and threats generally need to occur behind closed doors. When you pull a government’s pants down in front of the world, you leave it little option but to dig in. When you vandalise 13 million citizens’ news feeds as a bargaining chip, you raise the stakes – and the temperature.
Facebook's Australian news ban has also impacted charities, emergency services and important health sites, with vital information stripped from the social media giant.
So witnessing a standoff between Australia and Facebook could be the catalyst for genuine global reform. It could be that future historians of the internet come to see this decision as the moment the world sat up and started to take serious action on making Big Tech accountable to society. ..............
mark showed his immaturity and lack of humanity.
he is one of the worlds richest men and has acted like an arrogant bully with no morals.
