Australia has committed $80 million to the Gavi International Vaccine Alliance for immunisation of high-risk populations in developing countries, including Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu and Kiribati in the Pacific, and Indonesia, East Timor, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines and Vietnam in south-east Asia.
This figure is only part of the half a billion dollars in foreign aid to help south east asian countries rollout
immunisation programmes to cover their entire populations over the next three years....
Im wondering how many of the 80,000 doses which have been spruiked to be arriving in Australia this week
will go to the above mentioned locations.
Im assuming of course that there is someone in government that can actually count the vials we have
purchased.

I think everyone knows my views on this. Look after your own at home before you start doling out money overseas especially with the massive debt we have accrued. New Guinea needs a bit of a shake up right now before they get anything.

Well, the vaccine has arrived in Sydney.
No mention of any of the first shipment being distributed to any of the abovementioned
countries.
I will now wait with bated breath, as will everyone else, to watch the state premiers
in each state organize the rollout in their states.
My bet is that Dan will somehow stuff up Victorias rollout....

The politicians are in total denial.
The reason that there is so much hesitancy about getting the jab is that the people of this country
no longer trust their political leaders...
This total and abject lack of trust has been worsened by the display of incompetence by the
communist sympathizer, Daniel Andrews....
The fact that there is not one person in ICU throughout the country is also a reason for the hesitancy...
Plus there have been no deaths in Australia from the conjob19 virus since October, 2020.
Thats four months...
Morrisons lies about the alleged rape incident, two months before the 2019 election compounds
the issue...
The coverup by the government of the incident is blatant...
Reynolds wanted the girl to go to the Gold Coast and not come back...
This incident may be considered by some to be irrelevant to the hesitancy in getting the jab
but I beg to differ...
I will be looking forward to the weekly bulletins to be issued by the government, advising
of the progress of the rollout and all relevant developments...
But I wonder how transparent it will be...

The only issue is that Australia has got off so lightly, some people will underestimate this virus and not get a vaccine.

Short answer...no...
I find it interesting that almost on a daily basis recently, I have read articles which depict
the hesitancy of front line health workers...(nurses) who state for various reasons they will
not be getting the jab.
I would have to assume that these people, being exposed directly to the virus and seeing first hand
the effects of the pandemic, would be extremely well informed and well versed in the medical science
of vaccinations.
Yet a large percentage of them (particularly in the USA) are being reported as not getting the jab.
This hesitancy is not based on a lack of trust in government, it is based on their own personal
knowledge and research into the topic...
These people with hesitancy are not anti vaxxers..they are well informed people..
Much more well informed than me....

Forgot to add...
These jabs have to be called vaccines, whereas they are actually experimental
medical biologics....
If they were called EMB's it would leave Big Pharma open to law suits....
They get around this by calling them vaccines and add a disclaimer....
No ones got the balls to call them what they really are....
