ExonnMobil is closing its oil refinery at Altona...350 jobs to go...
BP is closing its Kwinana oil refinery in March....another 600 jobs to go...
More than 14 countries and 20 cities around the world have proposed banning the sale
of passenger vehicles which run on petrol.
Norway in fact is banning the sale of all petrol vehicles by 2025.
With only 2 oil refineries in Australia after the above closures, perhaps our
illustrious PM could enlighten us plebs as to what the future holds for the "lucky country"
Maybe in years to come all we will have will be pushbikes and rickshaws....
(No doubt those pushbikes and rickshaws would be imported into Ostraya as
we have to continue to pander to overseas countries to survive....)
We couldnt manufacture them ourselves.....too hard.....

First I've heard of it. You do know that Texas has F-16s. I used to repair their instruments and flight controls. Tanks and helicopters as well. Texans have 10s of millions of guns. Any armed invasion force will be taking constant losses from civilian snipers. I haven't researched it, but the Texas National Guard may rival Australia forces. We also have 1.5 million civilian Texans with a legally concealed gun on them every day.

I think we only have 25-30 F-16, some small airlift capability and I have no idea what kind of ground troops we have. But our civilians can back them up. We have millions of good ol boys who hunt, tens of thousands of cops,1.5 million pistol packing civilians that can come from nowhere, and millions of 4x4 trucks, jeeps, and motorcycles. We aren't organized, but we can be in a hurry.
