We don't get flu shots, shingles or pneumonia shots either. We don't know the long term side effects and since survival rate is 99% I will not get it until the day I can't travel without it.

That is reasonable. I was surprised when I read the poll results. Your reasons are quite ...... thoughtful.

I get the flu shot and am quite amenable to getting a covid shot.
