Israel Folau

Post by billy the kid » Wed Feb 03, 2021 7:09 pm

Its on again...
Folau is being considered as an NRL player for St George....
Ian Roberts, a gay NRL player from the past is warning that this "shitstorm"
claims lives....
Hot on the heels of the Margaret Court "controversy" we now have another
one brewing in the form of the possibility of Folau playing in the NRL....
Folau's views are well known....
Court's views are well known....
Apart from the denial of free speech, the case involving Dennis Tutty many years ago comes to mind...
Tutty, an NRL player (Balmain) from yesteryear (1969) was precluded from a transfer to another club.
He sued for restraint of trade....he was off contract...as is Folau...
Kim Hughes and the late Tony Greig were also involved in similar restraint of trade cases for different
reasons.....
Maybe Folau could do the same...
Will he be restrained from earning a living because of his beliefs...
AS Roberts said...the shitstorm is about to begin....
It would seem that his opinion is that maybe all the gays will start committing suicide
if Folau plays for the NRL....
Im not sure what empirical data he is using to substantiate that claim....

Its coming...the rest of the world versus islam....or is it here already...

Ian Roberts is a moron and a media hungry drama queen. I saw Brad Fittler on tv earlier saying it is a great thing and that he'd like to see Folau play for NSW. So well done Brad.

Israel Folau’s potential return to the NRL appears to be dead in the water after St George Illawarra withdrew interest in signing the controversial star.

The Dragons made the decision at an extraordinary general meeting on Wednesday afternoon.

“While the Dragons did enquire about signing Folau, the club can confirm that such discussions have now ceased,” a club statement confirmed.
