Re: Worst food
I has some Haggis in Scotland a few years back.
Bloody terrible, no amount of tomato sauce could make it palatable.
And in China I ate a mouse on a stick.
Not as bad as you might think.
It's not obviously a mouse, but the taste is..........interesting.
Just to clarify
It is mouse meat, but like a kebab.

I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

Never once got sick, except for when I ate a Qantas meal on the way over.
I didnt like Tofu at all, but the rice was perfect every time.
What got me was the way they served chicken.
They just chopped it up, didnt remove the bones and the cooked it.
You had to be constantly removing chicken bones.
And I steered away from any fish.
I often saw fish baely 4 inches long just thrown into the cooker and cooked until hard then served.
Guts, head and all.
I didn't mind china and would advise anyone to go there for a visit.
BUT, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EVER DRINK THE WATER.
Always use good bottled water, even when brushing your teeth.
As for India and Pakistan
AVOID THEM AT ANY COST
Filthy places and every person who visits the place ends up sick.

Re: Worst food
I was reminiscing with an old mate the other day.
When we went to Sydney TAFE, we woukd finish for the day and head to "greasy joes"
Not the real name
It was a fast food joint on the corner opposite Ultimo TAFE.
He made lots and lots of burgers in the morning and stacked them in the window of the food warmer.
I can still see them now, squished down one on top of the other, the bottom ones flatter than a pancake.
He sold heaps during the day, but the bottom ones just stayed there.
Late in the afternoon, before he shut up, he sold them for 50c each.
We would like in and buy several each.
They tasted ok
And in them days we all had stomachs of iron.
Sometimes we even could afford some chips, we could use the oil in oil changes in our cars.
Then we're the good old days.

Re: Worst food
Biltong can be disgusting or amazing depending who made what flavour they used and how good the beef was.sprintcyclist wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 3:57 amWhat is the worst food you have willingly put in your mouth.
For me, biltong was it.
It looks like a dried up old piece of leather.
Tastes like that, only infused with salt.
