Why the problem with Margaret Court being given an award.
The award is given for achievements in a particular field.
Why should Court be lambasted because of her views on gays and lesbians.
The award is not given for her views on this topic....
Isnt it given for her contribution to tennis....
It seems that if someone has any type of attitudes contrary to the "mainstream"
attitude, then they cannot be eligible for an award of any description.
Someone may be the best in the world in his/her field, but is automatically
disqualified from any award whatsoever....
Because he/she speaks against gays and lesbians...
It appears as though no-one is entitled to an opinion any more....
You wont get an award if you offend any one....

Her tennis career should be separate and apart from her current minister status and views on gays/transgender. She's one of the greatest female tennis players of all time for God's sake.

I honestly don't care what her views on LGBTQ are. She deserves the award. I'm so sick of whingers.

Ah yes, you are not allowed to have an opinion unless it is in favour of the 3% mentally ill people.

Its ironic isnt it that Andrews was spruiking last week about how the Australian Tennis Open had to
be kept by Melbourne, otherwise some other place would take it...
Not sure where he got the idea that Singapore would/could take it.....would never happen....cant happen...
BUT whilst the debacle of the unfair AO continues with everyone in quarantine, the one person who represented
Australia back in the day, Margaret Court, who won 27 Grand Slam events is being
dumped on by none other than....Andrews....
