Donald Trump Banned from Twitter
The president has been banned from his favourite social media platform out of fears he may incite further violence. Many other social media companies have since followed suite In banning or restricting the President's accounts and have even banned accounts associated with the President if they suspect taht Trump has been using them to subvert his ban, such as campaign accounts or those of his family members.

What was his tweet that was so violently offensive? What did he tweet or say to incite violence in the first place? To say "again" implies that he has already done it before.
Why hasn't the media even replayed a single quote from his speech that was an incitement to violence? It didn't exist.

Laughable that Twitter by Trump is considered too dangerous, yet he still holds the nuclear codes

China and Iran still have a voice with Iran issuing death threats. Twitter stock plunged double digits and closed at 6% down.

But the Democrats didn't do this, it was a private company that did it of their own volition. While I'm not entirely convinced that Trump incited violence, I certainly can see how Twitter may believe so. Either way, Trump certainly violated their policies multiple times before on various occaisions, so why not?sprintcyclist wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 11:00 pmyes.Texan wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 12:50 pmWhat was his tweet that was so violently offensive? It's important to remember that a President sits almost above the law, but that this is instead a private contract the President has agreed to, that he broke the terms of. There is no reason for him to be given special protections.

Just like Trump said. "It's a witch hunt".
When my son is back on US soil and I have no use for FB messenger, I'm dumping FB. The convenience of messenger is the only reason I got back on after 9 years. Never had Twitter. Social media platforms can do what they want as private companies, but if they are going to police their users then they don't need federal protection for their content. They don't need my patronage either.

That's about the sum of it but I would add "if they are going to police SOME of their users". Which is what they are doing whilst giving other truly violent groups and regimes free rein.Texan wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 11:10 amJust like Trump said. "It's a witch hunt".
