Wake up this morning and see the news. As best I can tell events went down like such:

1. The senate starts its hearing to confirm that it will count all the votes

2. Donald Trump demands the VP uses his powers to stop votes being counted at a rally elsewhere in DC. Pence says he does not have this power at his own speech to the senate

3. Trump tells his supporters at the rally to march down Pennsylvania Avenue to the white house, where they break through the police lines and enter the building. The senate is evacuated, Pence is at an undisclosed location, fuck knows what happens now.

Thoughts?

BTW what are we not to forget on 7/11?

Things I've learnt...
The Senate gets 4 Billion dollars to fund Capitol Hill, yet the Republicans, who currently control this funding, failed to provide additional manpower, even though they were aware of the volatile nature of the rally, even though they were aware of the growing far right movement across America... That's a failure on there part.

Trump refused to bring in the national guard until after his daughter came to the rescue begging him to... (he's a sucker for a pretty face)
Republicans are looking at impeaching the President because he cant be removed due to mental health issues and they are worried about other nightmares he has in store for the republic...
