As from tomorrow, every business (in NSW and Qld...presumably other States as well)
will need to have a QR code sign in system.
The media have reported this as "every business"
I presume every time I go to the shop to buy a carton of milk or a hot dog, or get petrol,
go to the TAB or the pub....etc...I will have to "book in with my phone"
What if I dont bring it with me....many people I know dont carry their phone with them
everywhere they go....
What about those who just havent got a mobile phone...there would be some...

My gym has re-opened but I need a QR code now to use it. The lady put some QR app on my phone and I HATE apps on my phone and refuse them all but to get into the gym I relented just this once.

I got inundated with "Hello friend" messages telling me to wash my hands, wear a mask and to stay at home! I was ready to break my phone til my son told me I didn't even need the app and that I just had to use my camera!

QR app deleted.

at every business you/we attend...
I dont think Id want to be standing in a line somewhere in the rain
for example waiting to get on a bus whilst everyone swipes their Opal card
or whatever and then flashes their QR code on their phone...

Yesterday, I had to activate a QR code to attend John Flynn Hospital in Tugun, Qld.
as a visitor....
Today, upon arriving at Aldi Tweed Heads, I was told by a supervisor that QR codes
in NSW were only required for the hospitality industry and didnt apply to supermarkets.
YET, upon attending Coles, Tweed Heads, there is a sign at the front of the store which
requires every shopper to activate their QR code before shopping.
No-one does...they just walk in....and upon walking through the mall I didnt see
one out of about 30 shops which had the same sign at their door.
BUT Hazzard has been quoted as saying that this QR code is required for all businesses,
otherwise they could be fined $5000.00
Has the media simply spread more hysteria...(they wouldnt do that would they...)
OR does it simply apply to the hospitality industry only.
Whats the difference between a restaurant with people sitting there in close contact with each
other and thousands of people attending a supermarket, rubbing shoulders with each other.....
OR attending a cricket match....
What a sham......
