Australia's Military Exchange Deal With Japan

Post by Black Orchid » Thu Dec 03, 2020 6:09 pm

Australia is using its formative military alliances as the only leverage it has in the worsening trade spat with China which has grown into a full-blown crisis for Aussie commodities exports.

It also comes after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo traveled to India and southeast Asian countries last month seeking to shore up coordinated regional resistance against Chinese economic and military influence and hegemony.

"Australia plans to sign a military exchange deal with U.S. ally Japan so troops from both sides could pool their firepower if needed to counter China, which has become enmeshed in disputes with Australia over the past two weeks," reports state-funded Voice of America.

I've heard complaints on this forum of china buying influence in Australian universities, using their control over farm lands and sea ports to claim produce for chinese use, use their influence to claim water rights for their farms, and to send masks and other PPE back to china just before the rest of the world declared an emergency and locked down their citizens. China is doing a lot of buying. Somebody must be selling them something.

They are also allowed to strip our supermarkets bare of baby formula to send back to China so that Aussie mother's couldn't get any for their own children.

And to top that off the government even supplied them with their own trial Post Office to send it from. Said Post Office also sold baby formula but only to the Chinese.

Two men have been charged after police seized an estimated $80,000 worth of baby formula and health products from two properties in Sydney’s west.

A 34-year-old Bass Hill man was arrested in Chester Hill and charged as part of an investigation into the alleged large-scale theft of infant formula, oral hygiene products and vitamins across Sydney between July and November this year.
