It's a great time for Rangas, the unmarried, the childless, women, and those who want Labor re-elected. The polls are already showing a turnaround, Abbott lost it last night on th 7.30 report, Julie Bishop has been put in her place - what a week!

I feel sorry for Kevin o7 personally, but at least he rid this country of the disease that was John Howard, for which he will be long blessed, and he has retained his dignity by not spitting the dummy and making himself available for a ministry.

Sorry to see Tanner going though.

Apparently Tanner can't stand Gillard. Something to do with their days in the Victorian Chapter of the Labor Power House. Anyone know anything about that?

I agree with you Hebe on Krudd's amazing dignity in defeat. More kudos to him for that. However, I was so profoundly disappointed in him as leader of Labor that I cannot agree that he has done very much good for our nation. But then I never thought Liberal that bad, merely stale.

I will recognize Krudd's ability to capture the sentiment of the nation and express that through symbolic gestures aka the sorry speeches for Aboriginals and WWII children as well as the Future conference... shame he could not use these symbols more effectively as a jumping board into a rather wonderful future. Maybe Gillard can lead us that way tho... who knows at the moment.

I do hope she is good at her work and not merely good at attaining power. I really don't want the Liberal Party in as yet... still too stale and I can't stand Abbott... catholic freak of medieval history that he is.

you prefer debt for the next generations and people out of work. no wonder you vote for the labor party. you selfishly want the next generation to prop up your lifestlye and you like the way gillard backstabbed rudd. she reminds you of you
