Well, thanks to BOs obsession with the politics of a foreign nation constantly polluting our Australian forum, we have learnt a lot about just how corrupt the US really is... that the corruption extends to ALL political parties.
Everyone needs a hobby, And if you dont like the subject matter there is no compulsion for you to post here
I knew very little about US politics prior to this election. But not now, an I have BOs obsession to thank for that. I played devil's advocate as a means to explore the left\ right dichotomy, much to BO's disgust... apologies by the way, and produced some pretty wild ideas...

But all the while, I was researching and learning.

And, here is what i have come up with...
The American political system is completely corrupted and has been for some time...
Trump did not cause it, he merely inherited this sorry state...
Trump was aware of it, but any meaningful changes were hamstrung by the career politicians...
I admire Trump's attempts to reduce the power of career politicians by bringing in outsiders, but it was never going to succeed...

America needs to do 2 things to bring it back to being a legitimate republic; Dissolve the Federal reserve and stop career politicians, by only allowing people to serve 2 terms in politics in any 20 year period.

they need to accept DEFEAT as well... the Democrats have been out to get trump since 2016 they stall cant accept they lost...

then as if that wasnt bad enough Trump follows suit and stamps all over the White House...calling out fraud its worse than 3rd world...

at least we all know that is corrupt and almost impossible to remove their megalomaniacs ...

now it looks like America is heading in the same direction... its shameful behavior from all sides....CLINTON LOST.. TRUMP HAS LOST..

get over it!

Apart from the silly "disgust" comment I agree with Nommy. The real fear now is can it ever be turned around? Trump was an anomaly and not a member of the establishment.

And, finally, for this post, I believe that the founding fathers gave there citizens the right to bare arms and a duty to protect each other against tyranny from internal and external actors was sound, but they underestimated their citizens apathy.
It is up to the American people to reclaim there democratic republic.

It will be impossible for the American people to reclaim anything whilst the MSM controls the narrative.

LOL I hate to break it to you Red but ALL leaders of opposing parties do this. Why do you think we have 'opposing' parties?

If Albanese gets in do you expect him to follow all of ScoMo's policies/actions?
